Nurse Senior Clinic
If you are the owner of an aging pet, you may be interested in our Fit for Life Program.
As your pet gets older, certain health problems are far more likely to arise, for example heart disease, kidney failure, diabetes, cancer and arthritis. Modern veterinary medicine means that we at McKenzie, Bryson & Marshall are better able to assist in the care of older pets. This ensures they can enjoy healthier, happier and longer lives.

Unfortunately the symptoms of age-related illnesses often develop slowly and can be easily missed, which may result in the appropriate treatment being given unnecessarily late.
We have therefore introduced a Fit for Life Program for pets aged 8 years and over. This program is run by our experienced nursing team and these nurse consultations are FREE OF CHARGE. We will cover all aspects of your pet's health and advise on how to help your pet in their later years.

If you are interested in getting a nurse consult, please phone the practice to arrange appointment.
It is recommended that you bring a sample of your pet's urine along with you, so please contact the surgery for the necessary collection pot. If possible your pet should be starved on the day of the clinic, but can have free access to water.
We also ask that you complete a short questionnaire, and bring it with you at your first visit if possible. You can pick up a copy of the questionnaire when you collect your sample pot. This will highlight any areas of concern for the nurse to discuss.
