Rabbit Housing

Rabbits are very sociable animals and in the wild usually live in large warrens. There are an increasing number of rabbits being kept indoors as house rabbits and useful information can be found on http://www.houserabbit.co.uk/. Indoors they are easily trained to use a litter tray.

Outdoor rabbits should be kept in a raised hutch of sufficient size for the rabbit to stand up in and have a draught free sleeping area.

The hutch should be cleaned at least twice weekly, especially important in the summer when flies can be a problem.
